Teacher – MS and Reformed Church Religion
Teaching of the prescribed, grade-appropriate Middle School curriculum, focusing on language arts and Biblical history, as well as mathematics, and integrating curricula subject matter within a distinctively Christian/Biblical world and life view consistent with CCS's mission as a Reformed Church School where the Articles of Faith of the Reformed Church are an integral part of daily instruction, and its relationship to all aspects of life.
Develop lesson plans in the subject areas of language arts, analytical and creative writing, Biblical history,mathematics; lead discussion of the course subject matter, critical thinking, and incorporating the Reformed Christian worldview that life and education are not divorced from the religious teachings of the Reformed Church; counsel parents and students.
US BEd degree or foreign degree equivalent, and at least two years of elementary or middle school teaching experience, at a Reformed Church School or alternatively having taken at least two semesters of Biblical study and interpretation at a Reformed Church college; a WA state teaching license or WA license eligible.
