Cornerstone Christian School in Lynden, Washington has openings for the 2026-2027 school
year for the following position:
                                                Full time 3rd/4th grade teacher

The courses of Math and Language are taught separately. The qualified candidate would be
assigned the third and fourth grade Math and Language course.
Our school has approximately 150 students in grades 1-12, excellent staff relations, a beautiful,
recently expanded facility, and a high level of community support. Interested parties who are

                                      Principal (with possible teaching duties)
                                      Beginning August 2028 or sooner

The suitable candidate should be prepared to address the following during the selection
process:
            • Ability to foster an atmosphere that will characterize the school as a distinctly Reformed Christian School.
            • Be a visionary thinker with the ability to implement the vision and educational goals of the society.
            • Experience in teaching and administrative leadership in Reformed education.
            • Ability to lead and develop staff to be an effective and high performing team of professionals.
            • Have as minimum, an undergraduate degree and recognized teaching diploma.
            • Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with staff and parents.
            • Willingness and ability to build healthy relationships within the greater school and church community.

Cornerstone Christian School

Seeks applicants for part-time 2026-2027 PARA-EDUCATOR positions

  • A paraeducator working two full days per week with a special needs student. 

  • A paraeducator working five mornings per week with individual student(s) using modified curricula (potential for this to be shared with two persons).

Typical responsibilities include: 

  • Assisting in progress monitoring and evaluation

  • Participating in planning/changing services for meeting students’ needs

  • Assisting the targeted student(s) by re-teaching, scribing, small group instruction, organizational coaching, and clarifying instructions (in or out of the classroom)

  • Working with students individually and/or in small groups on specific learning tasks and objectives

  • Assisting students out of the regular classroom as directed by the Ed Support Director(s) and General Education Teacher

  • Assisting students that need to be taught at a different level of instruction (modified curriculum) and/or providing intensive intervention to students that need instruction in a particular skill/area outside of their general classroom instruction

The successful candidate will have a love for helping children reach their God-given potential. They must be a positive team member and be able to work cooperatively and communicate successfully with staff, students, and parents.
